Lagos residents speak on palliative measures announced by government

Lagos residents want both the state and the federal government to ensure proper implementation of palliative measures put in place to cushion the impact of petroleum subsidy removal.
Their appeals come after President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu rolled out palliative measures to reduce the effect of subsidy removal.
Speaking with Access24 Correspondent, a Customer Service Relation officer, Ademola Taiwo believes subsidy of petroleum product had to go. While a Public Health Practitioner Odetola Farouk calls for proper implementation of the palliative measures.
On his part, a Former Board Member, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) Southwest Omopariola Busuyi says there is a need for the government to carry along Persons with disabilities in the formulation of policies concerning them.
Access24 reports that President Tinubu had announced the roll out of buses across the states and local governments for mass transit at a much more affordable rate including financial package to assist business in Nigeria among others.
