Nigeria’s Super Falcons will lock horns with defending champions Banyana Banyana of South Africa in the semi-finals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Tuesday evening.

The last-four fixture was confirmed after South Africa edged Senegal 4-1 on penalties in Saturday’s quarter-final, after both teams played a goalless draw after 120 minutes of play.

The encounter presents the Falcons with a chance to avenge their 2-1 defeat to the champions in their opening match at the 2022 tournament.

Both teams clashed in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games final round qualifiers, which the Super Falcons won 1-0 on aggregate.
