The Green Chamber also implored Muslims to offer continuous prayers for Nigeria even after Ramadan, saying that a peaceful and prosperous nation equally needed prayers to sustain its blessings.

The House of Representatives has felicitated with Muslim faithful on Eld el Fitr, urging them to be more spiritually devoted.
This was revealed on behalf of the Green Chamber by the spokesperson for the House and Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Rep. Akin Rotimi in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
Rotimi therefore urged Muslim faithful to use the opportunity to strengthen the spirit of generosity, togetherness and promote positivity at all times.
He said; “The House celebrates with Muslim Faithful across our country and beyond, as we commemorate this blessed occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, the end of the holy month of Ramadan.”
“As one of the most important festivals on the Islamic Lunar Calendar; Eid-el-Fitr signifies a celebration of gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT), spiritual devotion, charity and a new beginning for each devotee.
“We thank Allah (SWT) for making it possible for us to witness the Holy Month of Ramadan peacefully. We pray that He accepts all our acts of Ibadah.
“As we celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr, I enjoin Nigerians, especially Muslims, to offer prayers for the country and our leaders. Let’s also remain united as a people,” he said.
