Reactions have continued to trail the ruling of the presidential election petition tribunal that upheld the election of President Bola Tinubu at the February 25 presidential election.

A five-member panel of the court led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, ruled that the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, failed to successfully prove the allegations of fraud, non-compliance with the electoral act and others in their petitions challenging the outcome of the election.

Some Lagos residents who spoke to Access24 expressed diverse views on the ruling.

They urged the opposition political parties and Nigerians to join hands with the government to move the country forward.

The challenges a the tribunal came after President Tinubu won 37 percent of the February 25 election beating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party's Peter Obi.
