Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has enjoined Muslims across the country to exercise moderation and not discard the lessons of Ramadan on the altar of celebrations.

This was revealed on behalf of the First Lady, by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mrs. Busola Kukoyi, in a statement on Wednesday titled ‘H.E Senator Oluremi Tinubu, felicitates Muslims.’

Kukoyi noted that the First Lady rejoiced with Muslims in Nigeria on the completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

“We should be modest in our celebration and continue to extend love to others,” Mrs Tinubu said in her maiden Eid-el-Fitr message as First Lady to end the month of Ramadan.

She said, “The lessons learnt during the one month of fasting should not be eroded on the altar of celebration.

“We should be modest in our celebration and continue to extend love to others. Our kindness to one another and service to humanity should extend beyond the month of Ramadan.
