A light plane crashed into a street in central Selangor State in Malaysia on Thursday, killing eight people on board and two motorists on the ground, the local police chief said.

This was disclosed by the Police Chief of Selangor State, Mohamad Iqbal Ibrahim, who noted that one of the two passing motorists was on a motorcycle.

Similarly, Malaysia’s civil aviation authority said in a statement on Thursday that six passengers and two flight crew were on board when the aircraft crashed, though it did not confirm any casualties.
