South Korean voters cast their ballots on Wednesday in key legislative elections that would determine control of the country's parliament and whether President Yoon Suk Yeol can advance his socially conservative agenda.
Voters who had been waiting outside were admitted to a polling station in the Gwangjin district of Seoul at 6:00 am.
Reporters saw, citizens placing their ballot papers in a box in front of a watching official, to choose the country's next 300-seat parliament.
