Popular On-Air Personality, Oluwasolape Akinlaja, also known as flowergirl, over the weekend lunched a book in celebration of her 40th birthday.
The relationship expert while briefing ManlandFM about her motivation towards the publication titled “One Book Like That”, revealed that the aim of putting up the piece of art is to teach and encourage people on how to live a better life, by paying attention to basic principles of life.
Flowergirl also revealed that her idea named “One Book Like That” is intertwined with spirituality, with the aim of encouraging human beings to be tolerant and learn how to accept people for who they are.
She therefore opined that her book is not targeted at telling people how best to live their life, just as she stressed that there are basic principles in life that must be followed in order to attain the life Christ lived.
Access24 reports that part of her words were; “I realize that there are a lot of things that people don’t know, and nobody is thinking any more.
“I might as well be the one to help you think through some certain things, by highlighting things that you should be aware of so that you can literally live a better life for yourself.
“Because Nigeria is in such a sad space, I feel it is my responsibility to spread happiness, to spread joy, through the news of what I have written in my book.
“One Book Like That is not specifically a story, but they are like hard written punches to reality, facts of life, and things that remain constant. I have been told a lot of that.
“During my show on Radio, people would call me and tell me about how similar the stories in my book are relatable to some in the Bible. One Book Like That is intertwined with spirituality.” She added.
