Kumayon calls for support from everyone in the LCDA

The Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria has called for unity and coexistence among residents of the area.
Ajose Peter Kumayon -popularly called APK- was officially sworn in on Sunday, 27th July 2025, as the 6th Chairman of LCDA.
Speaking at an Inauguration ceremony at Age-Mowo Junior Secondary School, in Mowo the LCDA chair said all hands must be on desk to move the council forward.
Kumayon expressed thanked residents of the council for giving him with the responsibility to serve them.
He said the position was a call to serve and not
that of a prestige.
The new chairman assured residents that his administration would be guided by transparency, accountability, and accessibility.
He also acknowledged the contributions of past chairmen who he said laid the groundwork for the development of the LCDA.
Dignitaries at the Inauguration advised the new council chairman not to play bitter politics or that of revenge especially against those that did not vote for him.
A large crowd of party faithful, dignitaries including traditional rulers, religious leaders, and residents of Olorunda LCDA welcomed Kumayon.
