The Ogun State Chairman of the New Nigeria People's Party, NNPP, Comrade Oginni Sunday, has urged the leader of the party, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to call to order the fraction been perpetrated by some members of the Party.

This statement made by the Ogun State, followed the three months suspension of the chairman board of trustees and founder of NNPP, Dr. Aniebonam Boniface. He said the move by some members of the party indicates that the operating 2022 constitution of the party may have been suspended.

He said that the suspension of the constitution is legal because the chairman board of trustees and founder of NNPP is a life member of the board of trustees.

He emphasized this by saying “This is because the chairman board of trustees and founder of NNPP, Dr. Aniebonam Okechukwu Boniface is a life member of the board of trustees.

“Therefore, suspending him is tantamounts to suspending the constitution. This simply means that nwc of the new NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY may have caused a coup in the party.”

He therefore revealed that the executives of the party would “in due course” make further statement to address members of the party nationwide, as he urged them to be law abiding and obedient to the rule of law.
