New Ministry of Waterfront Permanent Secretary, Gbajumo, Assumes Office, Charges Officers to Put in Their Best

The recently appointed Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Mr. Farouk Kehinde Gbajumo calls on staff to be hardworking and selfless.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Mr. Farouk Kehinde Gbajumo has assumed Office after the statutory retirement of the former Permanent Secretary on Tuesday July 18.

In a statement released by the Lagos State Government on Wednesday, Gbajumo charged all staff to put in their best and be ready to make sacrifices to ensure the success of Lagos State.

Speaking at a brief reception organised for him by the Ministry, Mr. Gbajumo urged the staff to embrace the virtue of hard work, honesty, and selflessness.

He solicited the cooperation and support of everyone to be able to achieve the Mandate, Vision and Mission of the Ministry, stressing that there is a need for everybody to join hands together in moving the Ministry and Lagos State forward. Earlier, the Director of Admin and Human Resources of the Ministry, Mrs. Kehinde Fasuyi pledged the loyalty and support of every member of staff to him in achieving his set goals and objectives in moving the Ministry to the next level.

Access24 reports that Mr. Farouk Kehinde Gbajumo was recently appointed as Permanent Secretary on 3rd of July, 2023, alongside three others and sworn in on the 13th of July by the Governor of the State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. He has served at various Ministries and Parastatals as Director of Human Resources, with his last post being the Director of Admin and Human Resources of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) before his new appointment.
