Veteran Nollywood actor, John Okarfor with the stage name "Mr Ibu" is dead.
His death was confirmed by the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas Ejezie on Saturday evening.
According to Ejezie, Mr Ibu had a cardiac arrest sometime on Saturday.
He said in an Instagram post; “I announce with deep sense of grief that Mr Ibu didn’t make it.”
It was revealed that the veteran comedian passed away at Evercare Hospital, as many fans shared condolences on X, reminiscing about movies the late actor featured.
