The Lagos state head of civil services said the government welcomes innovation to grow the health sector.

The Head of Service (HOS) of Lagos State, Bode Agoro is calling on the Government, healthcare stakeholders in the state to deepen partnerships, foster a culture of innovation, prioritize equity, inclusion, and accountability.
The HOS said this during an Award and recognition ceremony theme, ‘building healthier future and celebration partnership, innovation and service” in primary health care delivery within Lagos health district 1.
Agoro Highlighted the significance of innovation in healthcare, noting that to build a healthier future, all hands most be on deck to leverage fresh ideas and dare to do things differently in the state.
The permanent secretary Lagos state Health district 1, Dr Olufunmilayo Bankole said that the innovation is going to further strengthen the relationship between the health sector at the grassroots level.
Awards were presented to 36 serving and retired officers, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to primary healthcare delivery in Lagos Health District one.
Access 24’s Correspondent Daniel Tanimu reports that the Lagos state Head of Service commended the Permanent Secretary, Health District I, for developing the innovative Health District I, Data Visualization and Notification Application which is a solution designed to enhance service delivery, improve care quality, and effectively address complex healthcare challenges.
