Ancellotti Reveals Club Wants Him To Remain In Managerial Position

Carlo Ancelotti, Manager of Real Madrid says he will be staying in his role at the club. The Italian revealed that the club said they wanted him to stay.
He also stated that he wanted to see out his current deal with the Spanish club. "Everyone knows really well what my situation is: I have a contract until the end of the 2024 season and I want to stay," said Ancelotti.
The former Everton coach managed Madrid between 2013 and 2015. He won the Champions League in 2014 and he returned for a second stint at Real after leaving Everton in June 2021.
The Italian also led Real Madrid to a 14th European Cup and the Spanish league title in 2022.
Ancelotti who spoke ahead of the team's clash with Valencia on Sunday, May 21 in La Liga's matchday 35 at the Mestalla said the team was ready for the task.
“The team is ready and we have all the players available. We want to get back into a positive dynamic and tomorrow we have the chance to do things right. The aim is to finish the season strongly and Valencia are fighting with all their soul" he said.
Real were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals by Manchester City and they are 14 points behind Barcelona, who have been crowned La Liga champions, with four games to go.
