Bola Tinubu has been sworn in as Nigerian President, the former Lagos Governor took the oath of Office at the Eagles Square in Abuja.

The Oath of Office was administered by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola, on Monday.

The governor of Lagos State was declared the winner of the February 25, 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission. with 8.8 million votes and the required number of ballots across two-thirds of Nigeria's states.

The Politicain popularly referred to as Lagos kingmaker will look to take Africa's most populous nation out of economic troubles and insecurity.

Both the main opposition leader Atiku Abubakar, who came second, and outsider Peter Obi, who was third, are contesting the results in court, claiming fraud.

In another development, President Tinubu stated that fuel Subsidy is no more as there was no provision for it. He also stated that his administration will ensure the convergence of Exchange rates, address of multiple taxation.
