Former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is on a mission to restore hope and happiness to the people of Rivers State and Nigeria at large.

He made the statement while addressing a crowd of supporters at the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The former governor of the Oil rich Niger delta state accused the Rivers State political establishment of electoral malpractice.

He described the state as being ‘notorious for writing results.’

‎He also took aim at the current administration, accusing it of neglecting the suffering of Nigerians. 

‎Amaechi called on ADC supporters in Rivers State to unite and work towards removing President Bola Tinubu and the APC-led government from power.

‎The former governor walked through major streets of Port Harcourt to the cheers of enthusiastic supporters, reaffirming his influence ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
