Alex Telles has left Manchester United to join Saudi side Al-Nassr in a permanent transfer.

Telles will be reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for the Saudi Pro League side in January.

The Brazilian made 50 appearances for United after joining from Porto for £13.6m in 2020, he spent last season on loan at Sevilla.

He was loaned to  Sevilla last season after struggling for first-team opportunities, Telles made 38 appearances for the La Liga side, starting in their victory over Roma on penalties in the Europa League final.

"We'd like to thank Alex for his contributions to the club over the last three years and would like to wish him all the best for the future." A  Manchester United statement said.

Saudi Pro League teams have made headlines this summer, with stars like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Roberto Firmino joining Ronaldo in the country.
