One person was killed by bandits in Ruggar Goshe community, Kangimin Sarki village, Rigachikun in Kaduna’s Igabi LGA.
According to reports gathered, the invaders also rustled roughly 250 goats and sheep from the village.
The perpetrators allegedly attacked another herders’ hamlet in Filin Idin Barebare in Zaria Local Government, killing one person and injuring another.
However, two bandits who were causing havoc in Igabi LGA were murdered by security personnel stationed in the area.
The two bandits were killed shortly after numerous people were killed by the bandits in Kerawa and Sabon Birnin villages in the Igabi and Zaria LGAs.
Governor El-Rufai expressed his sorrow over the killings and offered condolences to the victims’ families.
